This is a contractual agreement between you and I.  By using this website, you agree to honor its integrity by not hacking it and honor my original content by not copying it.  Other terms and conditions also apply, please read this document in its entirety.

By continuing to use this website, you agree not to copy any textual content, document or images. All photography, graphics, text content and documents are original works that were created for Domainers.Name or under expressed permission of use by the contributing party, and all are Copyright by Domainers.Name or the contributing party for exclusive use by Domainers.Name. No re-use or redistribution of any said works is inferred, implied or authorized.

The graphic logos, badges and even the backgrounds found on this site are the work of Doug Peters and intended explicitely for exclusive use here as Domainers.Name intellectual properties. Any re-use or redistribution of these Copyrighted materials will be dealt with as quickly as possible and if required, as relentlessly as the law will allow.

Usability Studies, Tracking and Statistics

You agree that we can use log files, Google Analytics and small digital data files called 'cookies' to track your visits so that we can improve the website.

This site makes use of internal log files on our server, Analytics statistics data that Google shares with us (which is not personally identifying) and small digital generic ID files called 'cookies' that are stored on your computer in order to allow us to enhance the website. Cookies may allow us to note when you have returned, and are required in order to display specific information you might request or require. Cookies can enhance your user experience as well as allow me to improve the website.

However, you can still turn cookies off in your browser and still use the website. I do not recommend it because I will be adding applications that can take advantage of the convenience that cookies provide and your user experience on the website may suffer.

Contact and Participation

You agree that if you register for a newsletter I will maintain your personal data for administrative purposes.

Sometime soon, you will have the opportunity to sign-up for a low volume (1 to 2 messages per month) email based newsletter. If you do sign-up for this newsletter, you realize and agree to my maintaining the necessary registration information on my server in order to maintain and administer your membership and newsletter emails.

You agree that if you contact me I will retain your personal info in my own network for the purpose of communication.

Should the opportunity to contact me through this website's online contact form (in the footer of every page or by using the dedicated contact page) move you to do so, you understand and acknowledge that I will have and keep your personal contact information within my network in order to communicate with you effectively.

Should we agree to a price and initiate the sale of a domain name, I may become privy to even more personal information.

I will protect your personal information and data as well as I can by keeping it within my own network. For more information on how I protect your personal information and data, see the Privacy Policy. 

I keep as little of your personal data as possible.

Security

For the purposes of security, I store as little information about you as I possibly can, maintaining only the vital bits of information to keep membership registrations and newsletters active and the lines of communication open.

If we do enter an agreement to do a domain name deal, it will be handled by an approved, reputable authority in the business, such as Sedo or Escrow.com. This protects both of us, as it keeps each party's personal and financial information separate and private from each other.

You agree that I may also delete anyone's personal data at any time.

I am not responsible for maintaining your personal information and data. Should I have no need for it, I may delete all your personal information and data without notice, whether you have a relationship with me or the website, or not.  

I am simply retaining retaining my right to delete any data I choose, and furthermore, I am not responsible for data that may be lost due to catostrophic data loss, accident, nefarious circumstances, or acts of God.

You agree that although I use great care to select safe and secure web scripts, that I will not be held responsible for any issues caused by a third party software application.

Third Party Scripts

Although I am a software consultant and am intimately familiar with internet technologies, I do not hand code every script on this website. I do rely on what is reported to be safe and secure third party web application scripts in order to provide you with the convenience and functionality you would expect from such a site.  

As such, I do not have control over certain scripts, such as Google Analytics for example, but I select them for their low risk and helpful convenience in order to improve your overall experience at Domainers.Name. 

Thusly, I am not responsible for any security issues with third party software unless I am aware that there is an exploit upon installation.  

Additionally, I will attempt to resolve all known software issues and exploits with software patches and updates as quickly as possible, as soon as I am aware of a solution.

Community and Site Interactions

You agree to be bound to the rules of interactive website elements and features.

As we add features and interactive scripts to the website such as member areas and forums, by using these applications you agree to to abide by the rulkes set forth for those individual applications.  

Furthermore, you agree to follow the direction of moderators, administrators and authority role figures in policing said features. Refusal to comply could jeapordize your membership not just in a specific software application, but completely across all operations of the website.

However, appeals can be heard by contacting me and any complaints of abuse of an authoritarian's power will be investigated, as well.

You agree to inform me of any infringement concerns on other marks.

Name or Mark Infingement Concerns

If you are concerned that a domain name that I have registered infringes on your Trademark, Service Mark, established brand, business name or celeberty personality, you agree to open a dialogue of communication with me, prove your ownership or authority of the mark or name in question, which includes proving your identity and date that the said mark or name went into service.

I am more than willing to open a dialog and resolve any issues in protected marks and names, as I am interested in protecting my own. Still, you will not believe the scams that con artists will try in order to steal a domain that I have to navigate. Nevertheless, I am approachable.
